c1909 Chadwick Violin Amati copy. This beautiful German vintage violin was professionally refurbished in 2004. It's absolutely gorgeous! It is constructed with a spruce top and flame maple back and neck, ebony fingerboard, pegs, and tailpiece. It comes with a modern hard cover case for excellent protection, rosin, pack of extra horsehair for the bow and 2 extra ebony tuning pegs. The bow has an abalone handle and is strung with quality horsehair. It says "Chadwick Violin", "Copy of Amati" and "Repaired 1924 Rhinelander Wis. by Emery" inside the sound hole. Please note that there is minor cosmetic hairline separation on the spruce top which is common for vintage violins (see picture). $600 OBO.
