The nest box features a large steep roof to provide protection from the summer sun and to make predation by raccoons and cats more difficult. The oval door makes it easier for the adults to feed there young without going into the box. I use a 1" x 12" for the sides. The door opens easy for clean out. Great Christmas gift for the bird watcher and are built to last. $30 per box, painted $40, 2 available. Located in the township of Saratoga.
