This is being sold as-is for parts or repair. This lower unit came off of a 1993 40hp 4 cylinder two stroke Mercury. This should fit 35-45hp outboards from 1987 to 1997 and many others. It is a long shaft lower. The driveshaft measures 22.5" from the gear housing to the tip and has 11 splines. It has a 13 spline propshaft. The housing is free of any cracks, dents, or damage. The case casting number is 1643-9539-C
